California patient
Telehealth is intended for eligible MEDY patients who live in California. MEDY confirms your physical location for each visit.

If you are a California patient who lives more than 35 miles from both MEDY locations, telehealth may provide a more convenient way to receive eligible care.
MEDY telehealth is designed for eligible adults who need medical weight-management care but live farther from the Lathrop and Modesto clinics. MEDY confirms eligibility before the visit and determines whether the care you need can be provided remotely.

Care from where you are
Telehealth changes where the conversation happens—not the need for individual evaluation.
Your provider still considers your medical history, current medications, previous weight-loss efforts, preferences, and goals before recommending an appropriate next step. Remote follow-up also creates time to review progress, raise concerns, and adjust the plan when clinically appropriate.
Eligible telehealth patients generally do not need routine travel to a MEDY clinic for remote care. The appointment still happens live by video, with measurements and information available for the clinical conversation. Scheduling reserves the appropriate appointment path; MEDY then provides the separate instructions needed to join the visit.
Preparation matters. Keep your equipment nearby, join from a private place with a reliable connection, and be ready to discuss changes since your previous visit. If MEDY determines that a particular need cannot be handled through telehealth, the team will explain the appropriate next step.
